CHOOSEÂ to Be CHOSEN IS HERE
🍋 Credentials? Check.Â
🍋 Accomplishments? Check.
🍋 Expertise? Check check!
You spent years becoming exceptionally good at what you do. But in a marketplace crowded with credentials, expertise alone is not enough to get you chosen.
CHOOSE to Be CHOSEN challenges the costly assumption that the value of your expertise should be self-evident.
You’d think being that good would be enough.
Unfortunately, it's not.Â
This book explains why, and what the market is listening for instead.
🍋 GET AN ADVANCE READER COPY 🍋
I’m inviting advance readers to read Choose to Be Chosen before it officially publishes on October 6th.
It’s a short, under-100-page book about why expertise alone isn’t enough to make you the one they choose, and how to turn what you know into a message that makes your thinking unmistakable.
Some of my longtime clients and BOOK to BUSINESS authors are already joining me for this one. And whether you’ve followed my work for years or only recently found your way here, I’d love to have you be part of it too.
Advance readers will receive a complimentary digital copy of the book before publication, plus a private mini-training that takes the ideas in the book one step further.
In return, I’m asking you to read the book before launch and, if you believe it earns one, leave an honest Amazon review when it publishes.

Ah, yes... Allow me to introduce my Yellow Lemon Theory.
To be clear, this theory has not been submitted for scientific review. (Rest assured: no lemons were detained for testing, and no control group was assembled.)
It began with a simple observation:Â Place me in front of a pile of yellow lemons at the grocery store, and one of them will eventually make it into my shopping cart.
But which one?
As it turns out, choosing the right lemon isn’t merely a matter of finding the yellowest one.
Color and shape only get it into the lemon pile. (No bananas allowed.) But weight, texture, and scent offer clues about what’s beneath the rind so you can choose the one that belongs in your cart.
The same distinction matters when people are deciding who to work with.
Your credentials establish that you’re qualified. But when everyone seems to be qualified, the question becomes:
Why should someone choose you?
For that, people need to see what lies beneath your qualifications: What do you see that others don't? And...Â
Are you prepared to make a case for it and stand behind it?
Without a clear, defensible argument, your qualifications alone give people no substantive reason to reach for you.
That is the decidedly serious idea beneath my admittedly suspicious number of lemon references:
Your credentials get you into the pile.
The intellectual weight of your argument gives the market a reason to choose you.
That’s the Yellow Lemon Theory.
Scientifically unverified but commercially consequential.
Read the book to get all the juice. 🍋
🍋 GET THE BOOK >>>Meet Lin Eleoff: The Woman Behind the Lemons
Lin Eleoff is a lawyer, former television news anchor and investigative journalist, author, publisher, and founder of the BOOK to BUSINESS.
She helps accomplished women turn the expertise they’ve spent years developing into a clear, defensible argument. That argument becomes a book that serves as the intellectual center of gravity for their business.
Her work is built on one decidedly serious belief:
Your qualifications may establish your expertise. But your self-authored thinking is what gets you chosen.
Choose to Be Chosen is Lin’s latest Mighty Tiny Book™: a short book with one substantial argument, several well-positioned lemons, and absolutely no interest in sitting quietly on Amazon looking accomplished.
